Ideally located near Dublin’s most popular attractions, Wynn’s hotel is the answer for any kind of traveler that find themselves in Ireland’s capital. The hotel effortlessly combines historic charm with urban sophistication. Its spacious accommodation, fully equipped gym and exquisite dining options have resulted in multiple awards, including Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence and the Experts’ Choice Award.

Wynn’s Hotel wanted to showcase all that their grand hotel has to offer and their central location whilst driving direct bookings. According to Google, 60% of leisure travelers and 55% of business travelers use its search engine to plan their trips. Therefore, Net Affinity’s direct connection to Google Hotel Ads was the perfect solution. Google Hotel Ads allowed them to do exactly this, displaying the hotel on Google.com and Google Maps across all devices. Furthermore, on this platform guests can book directly on the property’s website, further allowing the hotel to build relationships with their guests.

The Approach:

Mark Twain once said that “Many a small thing has been made large by the right kind of advertising.” With Google Hotel Ads, the only charge is when the ad generates a click or a booking. In close consultation with the hotel’s team, we allocated a healthy budget per month on the platform. All aspects of the hotel were considered when coming to this decision, including its city centre location, meaning it sees a higher than average percentage of bookings from the Maps page. Furthermore, the hotel offers a discounted rate for B&B on their own site, which means that they stand out against the OTAs very well on the platform.

The Results:

The hotel has flourished on Google Hotel Ads, with 1 in 10 clicks on the platform converting into bookings. They have seen 21% of bookings and 22% of revenue on their website come through the platform since it went live.
